Take a step back in time with this Victorian charmer. Built around the turn of the century, Little Acorn Sunday Haus has been restored to maintain the period decor, but with today's modern conveniences. Cottage was rebuilt with specially milled lumbar, gingerbread trim and doors, stamped metal ceilings and wood floors to revive the look of late 1800's Fredericksburg. Situated 1 block off of Main Street, cottage is within walking distance of restaurants, shops, live music and area events.

Little Acorn is located in the historic district of Fredericksburg. We love walking around the neighborhood and admiring the architecture. All of the houses are so unique and have their own personality. The neighborhood is quiet and a nice change of pace from the hustle and bustle of Houston. Little Acorn is also situated perfectly to easily get around town. Many shops and restaurants are either a short walk or drive.

In one word? Charming. What a wonderful place. The place exuded peace. The place was filled with light. It was cozy and warm. The beds were amazing. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked. I will definitely book this place again and I can’t recommend it enough.

My mom and I had the sweetest stay at this idyllic little cottage in Fredericksburg. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a storybook. The whole place has the most charming German-town vibe, with beautiful antique details and cozy cottage-core touches everywhere you look. The decor is thoughtful and authentic without feeling overdone - warm, inviting, and incredibly comfortable. And the clawfoot tub? Absolute highlight. It made our evenings feel extra special and relaxing after a day exploring town. One of our favorite parts was the adorable neighborhood cat who greeted us each morning. It felt like we had our own little welcome committee waiting outside the door - such a sweet and charming touch that made the stay even more memorable. Peaceful, private, and perfectly located to enjoy everything Fredericksburg has to offer. If you’re looking for an antique-filled Hill Country escape, this cottage is pure magic. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

A very clean and cozy cottage reminiscent of Grandma's...with all the modern amenities. Quiet neighborhood and easy walking distance to all downtown Fredericksburg has to offer. Looking forward to another visit.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and had everything we needed. It was right off of Main Street and we had easy access to everything from shopping to restaurants. We really enjoyed petting and playing with one of the cats who enjoyed the treats which were provided by the owner. We would definitely stay here again!
